Lady Antebellum tops GSU Spring Concert

STATESBORO —Grammy Award-winning country-music trio Lady Antebellum will be headline Georgia Southern’s Spring Concert at 8 p.m. May 2 at Allen E. Paulson Stadium.
The band’s hits include “I Run to You,” “American Honey,” “Just A Kiss” and others. The group’s 2010 single “Need You Now” claimed five of the trio’s seven career Grammy wins.
Lady Antebellum’s latest album, “Golden,” features the song “Downtown,” which is the highest-debuting single in the band’s career.
Joe Nichols, whose hits include “Gimmie That Girl,” “The Impossible” and “Sunny and 75” among others, is one of the opening acts for Lady Antebellum. Kristian Bush, also an opening act, is half of the platinum-selling country duo Sugarland, which is known for songs including “Baby Girl” and “Stay.”
Tickets for GSU students will go on sale Monday, and public general-admission tickets will go on sale March 31. Tickets will be available at the university store and at etix.com.
