A Big Green Egg club is forming in the Savannah area.

Cookbook author Damon Lee Fowler, food and beverage writer Tim Rutherford and Kitchen Outfitters co-owner David Freeman are forming a club called Coastal Eggheads for people who own or are interested in learning more about Kamado-style grills/smokers.

The first meeting of Coastal Eggheads will be 6:30-8 p.m. Feb 19 at Kitchenware Outfitters, 5500 Abercorn St. in Savannah.  A demonstration on changing the grill gasket will be performed.

A club trip will be planned to attend the Big Green Egg “Eggtoberfest” during the third week in October in Atlanta.
