Georgia Aquarium adding dolphins

ATLANTA — The Georgia Aquarium is opening its new dolphin exhibit in April after delays in debuting its first major expansion.

Aquarium officials announced Wednesday that the $110 million exhibit will open to the public April 2. The exhibit will include a dolphin gallery and show.

Aquarium guests can purchase advance tickets for the opening and can get sneak peaks of the new gallery online.

The world's largest aquarium delayed the new expansion's debut last fall because it wasn't ready for a November opening. The exhibit is the aquarium's largest expansion since it opened in 2005 in downtown Atlanta.
