The Richmond Hill Police Department will sponsor a free CPR and first-aid training class from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday in the RHPD courtroom.

The class honors Jennifer Balduff and the life-saving measures she took May 3, when she saved a 5-year-old from drowning in the Main Street subdivision pool.

Baldruff’s efforts were recognized June 5 by the Richmond Hill City Council, which proclaimed the week of June 25 as CPR Awareness Week.
