Fort Morris is on the eastern tip of Liberty County.

Women of the American Revolution will be presented from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Fort Morris State Historic Site.

The program will feature historically attired interpreters talking and demonstrating domestic skills used during the time of the American Revolution. Much needed skills such as cast-iron cooking, spinning, weaving, candle making and the little known "no tea tea" will be demonstrated.

Visit the site and learn of some of the women’s role during our country’s founding.

The site is at 2559 Fort Morris Road, Sunbury, seven miles east of I-95’s exit 76 at Midway. Admission fees run $3-$4.50.
