Family Promise launched a new campaign earlier this year, Building Lives, which challenges residents to help the nonprofit organization reach its target of $150,000 by the end of this year to enable it to be up and running by January.

“We are extremely grateful for the love that Bryan County has shown our organization and are so close to opening a full-time facility,” said Candice Stewart-Fife, the chairwoman of fund development and public relations for Family Promise of Bryan County said. “Richmond Hill United Methodist Church has been an incredible supporter from the beginning, and we are thankful to them for hosting our fundraiser. We are still looking for sponsors, bands and vendors for our music festival. Please visit our website for more information about the opportunities to help sponsor our event. We want to make a difference so we can begin to empower families in Bryan County to regain stability and independence, and to break the cycle of dependence on social programs and government assistance.”
