Bring your Family and friends to Club Stewart for the Easter Brunch from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday.

The menu features omelet bar and breakfast items, plus a carving station with your favorites. Advance ticket are discounted $3 off adults and $1 off children and available at club information counters. Prices at the door are $17.95 for adults and $7.45 for children (ages 5-10). No foolin’ golf April 1

All day on April Fools’ Day, play at Hunter Golf Club for just $1 per hole per person (50 cents for members). No fooling, this includes greens and golf car fees for everyone. Call 315-9115 for details.

Nike Demo Day

Try out some of the latest golf equipment during Demo Day with NIKE from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 6 at Hunter Golf Club.

Company-level volleyball

Companies interested in playing need to submit a memo and 15-member team roster to their sports office. Registration deadline is April 5. The season starts April 15 at Newman Fitness Center.

Final Four Action at Rocky’s

Who’s Number One in NCAA basketball?

Make Rocky’s Zone your place to watch Final Four action April 6 and 8 on the giant TVs at Rocky’s Zone. There’s no charge and screens throughout the facility guarantee that there’s not a bad seat.

Free food and snacks will be served and prizes given away. Omni Financial is the sponsor for both days.

Doors open at noon on April 6 and at 6 p.m. on April 8. Rocky’s will remain open until all the games have ended.

Dueling Pianos

Two premier Army Entertainment pianists will perform at 8 p.m. April 6 for 2-3 hours at Club Stewart.

“Dueling Pianos” is an all-request, sing and clap-along, rock 'n' roll and comedy show where.

Long range shooting

Soldiers, retirees, Army civilians and civilian guests can sight-in large caliber weapons April 6 from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Red Cloud Range Complex-Echo. Bring your rifles or muzzle loaders of any caliber. Targets will be at 100 to 1,000 meters.

Mystery dinner theater

Club Stewart will be the site April 12 for the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, offering would-be actors a place in the spotlight to help present Murder Two Point Uh-Oh!

Those who don’t want to be a part of the cast are invited to enjoy the meal and try their luck at solving the murder. 

The dinner theater costs $25 per person in advance, with tickets available at the club, or $30 per person at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is served at 7. And the show begins at 7:15.

Matrimony, mystery and mayhem surround what is billed as a “happy-to-hysterical, high-wire, interactive comedy mystery dinner theatre.”

Interested in being a part of the cast? Call 368-2212. Rehearsals will be April 8-11. The recommended cast size in 14-20. Age and gender are not specific, although those over age 18 are preferred.

Youth roles are available, provided at least one parent also is in the cast.

 

Golf scramble at Hunter

Register by April 10 for the Hunter Garrison Commander's Golf Scramble, scheduled for a shotgun start April 12 at 1 p.m. at Hunter Golf Club.

Lt. Col. Edward A. Kovaleski invite you to join him. The $40 per person entry fee includes greens and cart fees, range balls and light lunch.

Post-Wide Housing Garage Sale

It’s time for spring cleaning, get ready for the Post-Wide Housing Garage Sale – and make a few extra dollars by selling things you no longer needed.

The sale, at housing units only, will be from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. April 13. Register by April 3 to have your sale noted on a map that will be available at stewartmwr.com or huntermwr.com.

Everyone is invited to shop. Only residents of post housing are eligible to sell.

The Rock Power Lifting

The Rock Power Lifting and Bench Press Competition at Newman Fitness Center will be April 13. Weigh-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and the competition at 10:15.

Contestants will be placed into one of 11weight classes. Awards will be presented using Schwartz-Malone Power Lifting formula.

Registration until April 1 costs $10. The fee is $15 April 2-13.

Wild Adventures trip

Register by April 1 for Leisure Travel’s Wild Adventures Water andTheme Park Trip to Valdosta at 9 a.m. April 13.
