St. Elizabeth’s Episcopal Church invites everyone to bid 2016 farewell and celebrate the arrival of 2017 at a party from 4-7:30 p.m. Saturday at the church, 16491 Highway 144 in Richmond Hill.
This casual evening will encourage fellowship over food and feature activities for children. A meat-based entree will be provided, and all who attend are encouraged to bring side dishes to share.
"St. Elizabeth’s is looking forward to this fun evening celebrating the New Year with our congregation, neighbors and, hopefully, some new friends," said the Rev. Dr. D. Clark Hubbard, the church’s pastor. "There will be plenty of good food for everyone to enjoy, and the inclusion of children’s games and activities will give the event a very family-friendly atmosphere."
Congregation member Joel Fleming is planning the party, but welcomes help. If interested in volunteering, call himi at 404-313-8922.
