Commander's golf scramble

Super Bowl 50

Watch as the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers clash in Super Bowl 50 in high definition with digital sound on a 16-foot screen in the Grand Ballroom at Club Stewart on Feb. 7.

The British rock group Coldplay headlines the halftime show, and the commercials unveiled during the Super Bowl always create a buzz.

There’s no admission charge. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy a halftime raffle for NFL merchandise and free food. Plus, there will be food and beverage specials, $10 pitchers, and door prizes.

Valentine’s Day dinner

Freedom Trail tour

Visit Savannah with Leisure Travel on Feb. 20 to see remnants of the Underground Railroad, where "free person of color" lived during slavery time, the port of entry where slaves were bought and sold, and Savannah's African American Monument. Cardboard Boat Regatta

Get ready for the Cardboard Boat Regatta at 1 p.m. Feb. 27 at Tominac Fitness Center’s indoor pool. There’s no charge. Participants must build a boat with just cardboard and duct tape. Each boat will race one length of the pool with a two-person crew. Paddles provided. Three categories: kid/kid, adult/adult, adult/kid. There will also be a prize for best looking boat.
