The Liberty Theatre Co., formed by the Hinesville Area Arts Council, recently announced the lineup for its 2010-11 season.
The company’s April production of “Vanities,” proved to be popular with audiences. The troupe also performed two one-act plays and a Christmas show last year, both of which drew large crowds.
The 2010-11 schedule will feature the following shows:
• November 2010: “Steel Magnolias,” directed by Brian Rothwell. Auditions begin Aug. 12.
• February 2011: “As Yet Untitled,” directed by Brian Rothwell and Jennifer Buehler. Auditions begin in late November/early December. This original work is based on local history.
• June 2011: “Grease,” an interactive experience. Auditions begin in March 2011.
• Other possible projects include a Christmas program that will focus on children’s theater.
