Team Evan of Richmond Hill is holding fundraisers this week to raise money for the Light the Night walk event Oct. 18 in Savannah.
The first event is “Eating Away Cancer” from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the McDonald’s in the Publix shopping center.
The second event is “Washing Away Cancer”  car wash and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the county annex building on Highway 17 next to Hardee’s. All car washes are $10 and baked good start at $1.
All proceeds will go toward LLS.
These events are held in honor of the late Evan Nelms and other local children who have suffered from cancer.
