St. Anne Catholic Church will have its annual Auction at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 18 in Holy Family Hall.

"The auction is a great way for the community to enjoy a casual evening of dancing, catered food, drinks, fellowship and silent and live auctions," said auction chair Shannon GaNun. "This year our theme is Lowcountry Luau, which will lend itself to a fun, colorful and festive event."

She said the mobile bidding app BidPal will be used to simplify the auction. Proceeds will be used to reduce the debt on the new St. Anne Church and to support youth ministries.

Corporate and family sponsors are being sought and range from $250 to $1,000. Sponsorship benefits include tickets to the event, a logo on BidPal and a program ad.

For sponsors of $750 and higher, benefits also include a sponsor page on BidPal and a reserved high-top table.

Donations from the community are also sought for the live and silent auctions.

"The St. Anne auction is a great way to showcase products and services — St. Anne has 1,000 families in the parish, and we encourage our community to support the businesses that support us. We will acknowledge donations and sponsorship through BidPal, on our Facebook page, and in our weekly bulletin," GaNun said.

Members of the community are invited. Tickets and sponsorships are available through bidpal.net/stanneauction2018.
