Richmond Hill’s Cub Scout Pack 527 held its annual Pinewood Derby on Saturday at Richmond Hill United Methodist Church.
Each Cub Scout den, from Tigers to Webelos 2, held their own racing series, with the winners from each den competing for fastest in the pack.
It was a close competition, with many “fast and furious” derby cars. Pack trophy winners were T.J. Southworth for the Bears with first place, Brandt Smith for Webelos 1 with second place and Andrew Stephens for the Tigers with third place.
Cub Scout Pack 527 is sponsored by Richmond Hill United Methodist Church. It is historically the oldest Scout pack in Richmond Hill. Boys in grades 1-5 are eligible to join the Cub Scouts.
