Ogeechee Riverkeeper will hold its fourth annual Oysters for the Ogeechee fundraiser from 6-9 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Isle of Hope Marina at 50 West Bluff Drive in Savannah.

“Our annual oyster roast has become such a fun, annual tradition. We always enjoy the camaraderie, the delicious food and drinks, and the gorgeous view,” said Jenn West, Ogeechee Riverkeeper’s membership and communications coordinator. “We encourage the community to join us for a lovely evening and help to ensure the continuation of ORK’s mission and important work.”

Guests will enjoy unlimited steamed oysters and a selection of “land lovers” fare from Barnes Catering. And back by popular demand, Moon River Brewing Company will serve its specially brewed, unique Ogeechee Riverkeeper Spiced Pale Ale, made with locally harvested gallberry honey and local organic ginger root.

DJ OB-1 Benob will be spinning classic rock tunes, and attendees will have the chance to bid on an impressive array of silent auction items, such vacations, local art, gift baskets from area businesses and more.

Tickets booked in advance are priced at $45 per ticket and $40 per ticket if there are two or more in a group. Tickets purchased the day of the event will be an additional $5 each.

There is the option to purchase a VIP wristband, available only in advance, for $90 per ticket or $80 per ticket for groups of two or more people. VIP wristbands include prime parking, private seating, a personal oyster cooker and server and a full open bar.

Event sponsors include Milliken, Isle of Hope Marina, Barnes Catering, Ambos Seafood and Moon River Brewing Company.

Corporate and individual sponsorships are still available starting at $500. Ogeechee Riverkeeper, whose mission includes river preservation work, advocacy efforts and outreach, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.
