The Richmond Hill History Museum will welcome Bob Fennell, son of late author Margaret Fennell Judy, at 7 p.m. Thursday at 11460 Ford Ave.
Before her death several months ago, Judy wrote “Little Did I Know,” which describes how she and her family moved to Richmond Hill after the U.S. government took over her hometown of Clyde during the 1930s in order to construct what is now Fort Stewart.
After moving to Richmond Hill, she worked for automobile industrialist Henry Ford.
The book is filled with stories and anecdotes about growing up in the South during the 1930s and 1940s.
This event is free to the public. For more information, go to www.richmondhillhistoricalsociety.com or call 912-756-3697.
