The 1965 graduating classes of Warner Robins High School and Northside High School of Warner Robins held a joint reunion this past Saturday. A barbecue was held on the grounds of the Governor’s Mansion on West Paces Ferry Road in Atlanta and was hosted by Gov. Sonny Perdue, who is a 1965 graduate of Warner Robins High School.
Of the nearly 300 graduates and guests attending, at least two local residents were included. Lynn Bennett was a classmate of Sonny Perdue, and fellow 1965 WRHS graduate. Terry Cole was a classmate of Gov. Perdue through the 10th grade, and was a 1965 graduate of Northside High School in Warner Robins. All the costs of the reunion were paid by the Reunion Committee.
