South Bryan County Recreation’s summer campers raised $250 for Richmond Hill High School student Abi Darrow’s battle with lupus through their Abi’s Pillar Links project.

The children strung together colorful construction-paper chains to show their support for Darrow. Each donation, at a minimum of 25 cents, added a link.

At the end of the weeklong fundraiser, the three summer-camp teams that collected the most money celebrated by having ice cream with Darrow.
