Presbyterian Women set 'Fall into Christmas'

The Richmond Hill Presbyterian Women will hold “Fall into Christmas” From 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Richmond Hill City Center.
The day will be filled with special speakers and demonstrations. Kimberly Ergul and Holley Jaakkola, authors of “A Savannah Christmas,” are scheduled to appear. Demonstrations will feature Pam Shores from Southern Image showing how to do “Christmas Tablescapes,”  “Tea 101” by Thelma Considine of Hale Tea Co.,  Rose Ahn of Flowers by Rose will offer “Creative Holiday Florals,” and Lisa Yackel will follow with a demonstration of a “Williamsburg Door Topiary.” Finally,  Sandra Elliott of Game Changers will speak about “Holiday Fitness.”
There also will be a Christmas boutique and a silent auction of fall and Christmas items. Ella’s, The Cadre Shop, Laurel’s  Home Furnishing and Hale Tea Co. will have gift items for sale. Featured in the silent auction will be a stained-glass lamp crafted by a local artist, handmade quilts and afghans and jewelry and a painting also done by a local artist.
A limited amount of tickets are available for $35 apiece, which includes a lunch presented by Chef Greg Tanner.  
This fundraiser will support local missions such as the Way Station and The Food for the Soul Soup Kitchen and the church’s youth missions.
