The biannual Fort Stewart Historic Communities Council meeting and Spring Cemetery visit will be Wednesday.

During the visit, tours are scheduled for the cemeteries of Poplar Head, Congressional, Smith and Smith Chapel. The trip will also include a tour of the Liberty County Mid-Coast Regional Airport at Wright Army Airfield. An opportunity is afforded to join the participants for lunch at an installation dining facility. Lunch costs $5.55.

Space is limited, so call for a reservation. Participants can meet at either the Fort Stewart Pass or Permit Office, Building 8093 on Highway 144, or at the Liberty County Recreation Area/Hinesville National Guard parking lot on Highway 84 between 7:30 and 8:15 a.m. The tour will begin at 9 a.m.
