Pool Tournament for Literacy seeks players

SAVANNAH — Royce Learning Center is recruiting pool players to take part in the inaugural Pool Tournament for Literacy from 6:30-10 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Southside Billiard Club, 13051 Abercorn St.

The event is a scotch doubles, round-robin format and includes a grand-prize drawing and award to the winning team. Teams consist of two players, and the maximum number of teams will be 40. The team registration fee is $30. Register early at roycelearningcenter.eventbrite.com.
