Pembroke scout earns Eagle rank

Josh Nubern of Pembroke Boy Scout Troop 357 was recently awarded his Eagle Scout  designation. The ceremony was Sept. 18 at Beulah Baptist Church, where Josh Nubern built a playground and a shelter for parents as his Eagle Scout project. Williams called  Nubern one of the finest young men he has ever met. (Jeff Whitten)
