The Pembroke Garden Club’s Beauty Spot award for May went to Courtney and Bobby Tilley of the Black Creek community.
Their yard features a bottle bush in full bloom, surrounded by dragon flowers.  It is further enhanced by the American flag and red geraniums.
The club’s Yard of the Month award for May goes to Mary and Wilson Exley of the Black Creek community. The yard is reminiscent of an English garden complete with flowers, shrubs, statuary and a peaceful seating area for reflection and relaxation.
