Midway Mayor Clemontine Washington announced at this week’s council meeting that there will be a city cleanup Saturday.
She asked for volunteers. T-shirts and refreshments will be provided.
The East Liberty County American Legion Post #321 will be selling fish sandwiches and boiled peanuts.
The fundraiser will benefit veterans and will be at the Midway Police Department from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
