Jason Carter, manager of Fort McAllister State Park in Richmond Hill, received the Georgia Department of Natural Resources “Above and  Beyond Award” for his coordination of the Civil War sesquicentennial re-enactment in December. He was honored at the Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites Managers Conference.
