Magnolia Manor on the Coast Garden Group recently unveiled a picturesque flower garden that was developed through the support of resident volunteers alongside Jason Jones and others who contributed to a special fund.
The dedication ceremony was held Thursday and began with group coordinator Crissondra Hinkle, who thanked volunteers as she stood in front of the garden and cut a ribbon.
Mary Worth, the president of the Magnolia Manor Residents Council, said numerous people have donated labor, materials, time and treasures. The resident volunteers working together demonstrated teamwork.
Hinkle encouraged volunteers to continue to donate labor and materials to the Magnolia Manor Garden Group.
Garden group members said they would like to express their gratitude for helping make the garden a reality.
The reception was followed with light refreshments, and Matt Purinton provided musical entertainment.
