United Methodist gears up for bazaar

Richmond Hill United Methodist Church is gearing up for its legendary Bar-B-Q, Bazaar and Silent Auction set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 19 at the church, 9050 Ford Ave.
Celebrating 60 years, this annual free event has grown into a legendary day of serving some of the best barbecue in the area including hams, Boston butts, ribs, chopped ham, potato salad, apples and more.
The daylong event also includes entertainment, fellowship and even a chance to do some holiday shopping with the bazaar.
The bazaar will feature handmade items and a silent auction of donated items from merchants and individuals in Richmond Hill and the surrounding area.
Meal tickets and pre-orders for hams, Boston butts, whole racks of ribs, quarts of potato salad and apples are available for advanced purchase.
Order forms can be found at www.rhumc.com and e-mailed to rhumc@coastalnow.net, faxed to 756-4610, mailed to P.O. Box 1480, Richmond Hill, Ga. 31324. or dropped off at the church office.
Chopped ham will be available by the pound and barbecue sauce by the quart and gallon on the day of the auction.
All pre-ordered whole hams, Boston butts and ribs must to be picked up by 3 p.m. the day of the event.
