Sept. 29: Urgent Care Second Anniversary – Visit Richmond Hill’s Urgent Care facility (60 Exchange St., Suite B-7) to help them celebrate their second anniversary with food, tours and giveaways, including an iPad 2 and dinner for two at Marker 107. You must be present to win prizes. Anniversary celebration is free and open to the public, and will take place from 5-7 p.m.

Wine on the River – Eat, drink, and be charitable at this benefit for the Richmond Hill Senior Center, featuring wine and food tasting, a silent auction and live entertainment. Down the Hatch at Marker 107 restaurant (2943 Kilkenny Rd.) will host the benefit from 6-9 p.m. Cost is $30 per person and dress is casual. Pumpkin Patch – Kick off a “spooktacular” 2011 Halloween season with the Richmond Hill Garden Club’s 10th Annual Pumpkin Patch at J.F. Gregory Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Purchase pumpkins, seasonal floral arrangements and more, and enjoy fall festivities with the whole family.

See Spot Ride – With Bryan Animal Caregivers’ annual See Spot Ride poker run, you can enjoy a fun ride while winning prizes and supporting the organization’s low-cost spay/neuter programs. Starting point will be Southern Biker Gear (4158 Hwy. 17), with registration starting at 9 a.m. and last bike out at 10:30 a.m. Cost is $15 a hand and $5 for each additional hand.
