The RHHS Chorus Boosters Club is hosting a talent show at 7 p.m. Friday at the RHHS west gym. Those wishing to compete in the talent show must be RHHS students. Admission will be $5 at the door. Proceeds will help fund a chorus trip to NYC, where selected singers will sing at Carnegie Hall.

Feb. 5: Mobile food pantry — The United Way will have its mobile-food pantry for emergency food relief from 10 a.m.-noon at J.F. Gregory Park.

Feb. 6

Feb. 7
First saturday hike — Join our park naturalist for a 3-mile hike on the Redbird Creek trail. Hikers will be discussing the effects of deforestation. The hike is from 1-2:30 p.m. Cost is $2 per person $5 per car park pass. Call 727-2339 for information.

Free income-tax preparation — The United Way is offering free income-tax preparation services to qualifying individuals at the Pembroke and Richmond Hill offices from 3-8 p.m. Thursdays and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.  Saturdays. Call 912-447-5577 or go to www.niacdc.org for information.

15th Annual 2015 Low Country Home & Garden Show — The 15th annual Savannah Low Country Living Home & Garden Show is from 2-7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. Find over 4,000 square feet of gardens, landscapes, DIY seminars and celebrity guests. Cost is $8, and active-duty military and children 17 and younger are free. www.savannahhomeandgardenshow.com

Feb. 12
Ask a Lawyer Day — Attorneys from the Georgia Legal Services Program will be available for free consultations at the United Way Bryan County Office. Consultations will focus on issues and questions dealing with family law, consumer rights, public benefits, Social Security, expungements, and other areas of the law.  All consultations are confidential.
