Movie nights at the Ice Cream Stop features PG-rated movies on Fridays and G-rated ones on Saturdays.

Oct. 3-4: Movie Night under the Stars – The Ice Cream Stop in Richmond Hill invites the community to a free family fun night of movie-watching under the stars. Friday evening’s showing will be a PG-rated movie, and Saturday night’s movie will be rated G. The movies will begin at dusk. Guests are asked to bring lawn chairs. Oct. 4
Pacing for Polio 5K — The Rotary Club of Richmond Hill and Georgia Game Changers are teaming up to sponsor a 5K race at 6 p.m. The 5K will depart from J.F. Gregory Park. Child care will be available for $5 per family. An after-party will take place at the Station Exchange, where there will be free refreshments, live music and a range of local vendors.

Post-Wide Housing Garage Sale — Everyone is invited (military and non-military) to the neighborhood garage sale throughout post housing areas on Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. The yard sales will take place from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, call 767-8238.

Pumpkin Patch — From 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at J.F. Gregory Park, the community is invited to come to this free event to find the perfect pumpkin for the home or yard. Tickets for games, face-painting and food are $1 each. There also will be local vendors selling fall crafts and décor. Check the Richmond Hill Garden Club for more information.

Oct. 7
Richmond Hill Farmer’s Market — Stop by the farmers’ market between 3-7 p.m. at the pavilion at the J.F. Gregory Park. A variety of produce and local crafts will be available for purchase.
