Sept. 12: Dance Studio Ribbon Cutting and Open House – Starting at 11 a.m., Off Broadway Dance Studio, located at 480 Edsel Drive Suite 200, will be having a ribbon cutting. Movie Night Under the Stars – The Ice Cream Stop in Richmond Hill invites the community to a free family fun night of movie watching under the stars. Friday evening’s showing will be a PG-rated movie, and Saturday night’s movie will be rated G. The movies will begin at dusk. Guests are asked to bring a lawn chair. “Murder, Medium-Rare” Dinner Theater – The Richmond Hill Community Theatre and Molly MacPherson’s Scottish Pub and Grill invite the public to an interactive dinner theater called “Murder, Medium-Rare” by Eileen Moushey. The play will take place at 6:30 p.m., and is recommended for ages 14 and up. Tickets are $32 per person and can be purchased at Molly MacPherson’s with cash or credit card. Dinner includes soup or salad, choice of entrée: Scottish meatloaf, chicken pot pie or tilapia; a dessert sampler and a non-alcoholic drink. For more information, call 459-9600.

Lunch and Learn – At noon, Diana Morrison, owner of Advertising Specialty Services, will facilitate the Lunch and Learn event. She will provide attendees with practical and important information and tips on how to improve brands through customer service. This event is free for Chamber members and $15 for non-members. Guests are asked to bring their own lunch, but drinks will be provided. To reserve a spot, call 756-3444.

Richmond Hill Farmer’s Market — Stop by the farmer’s market between 3-7 p.m., at the pavilion at the J.F. Gregory Park. A variety of produce and local crafts will be available for purchase.
