May 17: Old Fort Jackson’s 206th Birthday Celebration  –  The community is invited to attend the birthday celebration from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Old Fort Jackson in Savannah. The event includes a dress up station where children can wear historic outfits, a three-person slingshot activity and Savannah Children’s Museum’s big blue blocks. Attendees can sing “Happy Birthday” and eat cupcakes at 3:30 p.m. to end the festivities. Regular admission pricing applies. For more information, call 232-3945.

Church Yard Sale  –  The New Beginnings Community Church will be having a yard sale to support the youth retreat costs. The yard sale will be from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Donations can be brought to the church through Thursday. For more information, call 445-0196.

Telfair Pop! Teen Night — Teens are invited from 6-8 p.m. to the “by teens, for teens” art event at the Jepson Center for the Arts in Savannah.
