May 10: Savannah Animal Care Clinic Open House – From 1:30-4 p.m., the Savannah Animal Care Clinic is having an open house at its downtown location on Bryan Street for families and their furry friends. The event’s purpose is to raise awareness and funds for the Humane Society for Greater Savannah. Attendees are asked to bring a donation in cash or kind (such as dog or cat food) for the HSGS. Guests can meet the doctors and staff and view a tour of the clinic. Heavy hors d’ouerves and nonalcoholic beverages will be served. A prize drawing with a range of prizes will take place.

Movie Night Under the Stars – The Ice Cream Stop in Richmond Hill invites the community to a free family fun night of movie watching under the stars. The movie will begin at dusk. Guests are asked to bring a lawn chair. Visit the The Ice Cream Stop’s Facebook page for more information.

Small World Festival – From 11 a.m.-5 p.m., all are invited to downtown Hinesville for the Small World Festival in celebration of numerous countries and cultures represented in the area, many of which come to the community by way of military personnel who have traveled the world, have international family members and represent various cultural backgrounds.
