Dec. 14: Winter Muster at Fort McAllister — Celebrate the final battle of the Confederate troops from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fort McAllister. The battle will take place at 5 p.m. A self-guided tour will be held right after the battle at which time the visitors will view the destruction of war first hand. Admission is charged. Christmas Stroll and Holiday Market — Support local businesses at this year’s third annual holiday market in J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill. The holiday market will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and admission is free. For more information, visit www.rhbcchamber.org.

Savannah Harbor Festival of Lights — Celebrate the magic of the holidays from 5:30-10 p.m. nightly through Dec. 15 at the Savannah Harbor Road Course on Hutchinson Island with more than 80 lighted holiday-themed displays, with some as large as 30-by-50 feet. There will be horse carriage rides and the Staples Safari Zoo. The event is presented by Savannah Harbor Foundation and benefits World Ocean School, the Empty Stocking Fund and other charities. The cost is $25 per family vehicle.
