Jazzy picnic in the park —The Savannah Jazz Festival caps off with a finale in Forsyth Park starting with the Charleston Latin Jazz Collective at 4:30 p.m. The fun continues with The Savannah/CJA Hall of Fame at 6:45 p.m. and the Doug and Jean Carn Quartet at 7 p.m. Bring a lawn chairs and blanket and come early as space tends to fill up fast. 3rd annual Wounded Warrior Fishing Rodeo — Soldiers will head out from Fort McAllister Marina on the water to cast lines for a day of onshore and offshore fishing. The event, sponsored by Fort McAllister Sport Fishing Club, the event raises funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.
