Sept. 20: Third annual Warrior Classic Golf Tournament — Support local wounded warriors in this tournament at The Club at Savannah Harbor presented by Spine & Sport Foundation. Registration and lunch are at 11 a.m., and a shotgun start is at 1 p.m. They are currently seeking sponsorships for holes and prizes, as well as registration for teams. Farm Heritage Day — Head to Hunter Cattle Co. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a day of family, fun and animals. Kids and adults of all ages will have a chance to tour the farm, eat a grass-fed burger and even take a wagon ride through the fields. In addition to learning about local, sustainable farming, guests will get to meet many of the animals that live at Hunter Cattle Co. Tickets are $7 per person and children under the age of 3 are free of charge. Guests can also pay a flat rate of $35 per family valid for up to two adults and three or more children. 32nd annual Savannah Jazz Festival: Opening night — The Jazz Festival kicks off at 2 p.m. with the Savannah Country Day School Jazz Ensemble. The midtown Jazz Festival continues at 3 p.m. with the Savannah Arts Academy Skylite Orchestra and concludes with a jam session kickoff featuring Teddy Adams & Jazz Allstars from 5-8 p.m. For more information, visit the festival’s website at savannahjazzfestival.org.
