Aug. 12

"Getting to Know the Animals" at Oatland Wildlife Center Visit the Oatland Wildlife Center and check out "Getting to Know the Animals" on August 12 from 1:30-2:15 p.m. Shows run Monday, Wednesday and Friday through August 26. Learn fun and fascinating facts about four or five animals during each program with some that can be touched. Cost is $7 for adults; $5 for children, seniors and military. The Richmond Hill High School football team hosts Jenkins at 7:30 p.m. in a scrimmage.

Aug. 13

Tour de Ford Ten-Miler

Enjoy a stunning and historic race through the beautiful and exclusive Ford Plantation of Richmond Hill. The race begins and finishes at the Ford Mansion. For more information visit Georgia Game Changers Facebook Page and register on the Eventbrite page.

Aug. 16

Richmond Hill Farmer’s Market

The Richmond Hill Farmers Market runs 2-7 p.m. each Tuesday from April to October under a covered pavilion at J. F. Gregory Park. If you are interested in being a part of the market, contact Joy Lee at (912) 727-6496 or jlee@richmondhill-ga.gov. Event is held rain or shine. No pets are allowed under the Pavilion.

Maintain Beauty Bar Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening: Join the Richmond Hill-Bryan County Chamber of Commerce and community as we officially welcome a new local business to Richmond Hill at 10 a.m for a ribbon cutting at Maintain Beauty Bar located at 0471 Ford Ave., suite B (Next to All Things Chocolate).
