Here is a sampling of events coming to our area: Aug. 12 "Getting to Know the Animals" at Oatland Wildlife Center Visit the Oatland Wildlife Center and check out "Getting to Know the Animals" on August 12 from 1:30-2:15 p.m. Shows run Monday, Wednesday and Friday through August 26. Learn fun and fascinating facts about four or five animals during each program with some that can be touched. Cost is $7 for adults; $5 for children, seniors and military.
