July 7

Sunset Thursdays at Fish Tales — Sunset Thursdays are back this summer at Fish Tales, 3203 Fort McAllister Road, Richmond Hill. Every Thursday through August, patrons can enjoy live entertainment from 6:30-9:30 p.m. under the tiki hut. Entertainment will be announced each week at www.facebook.com/fishtalesga.

July 8

Friday Night Fun Run — Tim and Dave’s Nursery and Georgia Game Changers Running Co. are once again sponsoring Friday Night Fun Runs at J.F. Gregory Park, 521 Cedar St., Richmond Hill. The dates of the future Friday Night Fun Runs for this month are July 8, 15 and 29 and will continue Aug. 5, 19 and 26. Fun Run participants are highly encouraged to sign up on the Georgia Game Changers Running Co.’s Facebook page in the events section or call the store at 912-445-2163 for more information.

Paddle Trip at Fort King George — A paddle trip will launch from the Fort King George Historic Site dock, 302 McIntosh Road SE, Darien. The paddle will last approximately two hours. Comfortable attire and water are recommended. Space is limited, and registration is required in advance. Admission is $35. Call 912-437-4770 for more information.

Chamber’s July Lunch & Learn — Love your pets? Invest in their Safety and Be Prepared. Richmond Hill Fire Chief Ralph Catlett and Camy Thumwood, pet safety and disaster preparedness consultant, will share the risks of pets home alone and the problems emergency personnel have during 911 calls involving pets (especially during medical emergencies) and why it is important have proper, fire/police department-approved information on site. The Lunch and Learn takes place at noon July 13 at the Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce office, 2591 Highway 17, Suite 100, and is complimentary to Chamber members and $15 for non-members. July 11

British Soccer Summer Camp | July 11-15, 2016 — Soccer camp will be held at DeVaul Henderson Park, 500 Veterans Memorial Parkway, for ages 3 to 16. Camp fees vary and are listed at www.sbcrec.org, which also contains a registration link.

Robert Sapp Baseball Camp — Ages 7-14 are welcome to attend this annual summer camp held at Richmond Hill Park, 508 Timber Trail. The fee is $130 for the week. Register online at www.robertsappbaseballcamp.com or contact Robert Sapp at 770-287-3309 or rsbbcamp@charter.net.

July 12

Richmond Hill Farmers Market — The Richmond Hill Farmers Market runs from 2-7 p.m. Tuesdays through November, rain or shine, and has a variety of vendors each week. The market is under the pavilion at J.F. Gregory Park, 521 Cedar St. If you are interesting in being a part of the market, contact market manager Joy Lee at 912-727-6496 or jlee@richmondhill-ga.gov. No pets are allowed under the pavilion.
