Here are a few of the activities coming to our area:

June 23

Ribbon cutting and grand re-opening, KTM’s Sew Much Baggage — KTM’s Sew Much Baggage, 10195 Ford Ave., Richmond Hill, announces its ribbon cutting and grand reopening event from 4-6 p.m. Thursday. There will be light refreshments, and the ceremony will be at 4:30 p.m. There will be giveaways, discounts and specials.

June 24-25

Two nights of film featuring Elvis Presley-Lucas Theatre in Savannah — Don’t miss happy half-hour before each movie at the Lucas Theatre for the Arts, 32 Abercorn St., Savannah, where from 7-7:30 p.m., you can enjoy half-price beer and popcorn specials. If that isn’t enough incentive to arrive early, it’s also good to know that movies start at the time listed with no previews. Tickets are $9 general admission or $6 student/senior/military. This includes a $1 per-ticket historic preservation fee for all tickets purchased. The fee is for the ongoing preservation and maintenance of the Lucas Theatre. Also eligible for use with the Lucas Theatre Movie Pass. Available online or by calling 912-525-5050. You may pick up tickets in person at the Savannah Box Office at 216 E. Broughton St., or at the Lucas one hour prior to showtime.

South Bryan County Rec Summer Camp, Week 5 — This week’s theme is "Learning is Fundamental" and includes a trip to the Jacksonville Zoo. Cost is $135. Leadership Bryan Alumni Association Luncheon The Leadership Bryan Alumni Association Luncheon will be from noon to 1 p.m. at Bubba’s Bistro, 2457 US Highway 17, Richmond Hill. RSVPs are required. Contact Brianne Yontz at 912-756-3444 or byontz@rhbcchamber.org Event is for all graduates of the Leadership Bryan program who are members in good standing in the Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce. Lunch is on your own; so if you don’t order lunch, the event is free.

Richmond Hill Farmer’s Market — The Richmond Hill Farmers Market runs from 2-7 p.m. Tuesdays from March through November and has a variety of vendors each week. The market is under the covered pavilion at J.F. Gregory Park, 521 Cedar St. If you are interesting in being a part of the market, contact market manager Joy Lee at 912-727-6496 or jlee@richmondhill-ga.gov. Market is held rain or shine. No pets are allowed under the pavilion.

Tails On Trails Dog Hike | Fort McAllister State Historic Park Fort McAllister State Park, 3894 Fort McAllister Road, Richmond Hill, will host the Tails on Trails Dog Hike at 10 a.m. The hike will take one to two hours. Bring water for your pet. Purchase a Tails on Trails membership card for $15. Admission is $2 and parking is $5. Go to www.gastateparks.org/tailsontrails or call 912-727-2339.
