May 25: Graduation for Bryan County Schools – The ceremony for Richmond Hill High School graduates will begin at 2 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center, while Bryan County High School will host ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. at the school’s gymnasium.

Memorial Day at Fort McAllister  – Step back in time this Memorial Day by visiting Fort McAllister State Historic Park’s holiday program set from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the fort. The day will include multiple cannon and musket firings, blacksmithing and other common work done by Confederate and Union Soldiers. Cost is $6.50 for adults, $6 for seniors, $3.50 for youth and children under 6 are free.

Memorial Day in Richmond Hill  – Join the city of Richmond Hill for a Memorial Day celebration at 11 a.m. in J.F. Gregory Park as the city pays tribute to those who lost their lives in the line of duty. The ceremony includes guest speaker Lt. Col. Neal Corson, commander of the 2-3 Brigade Troops Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team of the 3rd ID at For Stewart. The ceremony will conclude with a laying-of-the-wreath and a 21 gun salute.

Benefit yoga class  – Join other yogis at Awakening Yoga Studio in Richmond Hill from 6:30-8 p.m. for a yoga class to benefit the Matt Davis Recovery Fund. Matt Davis was injured in a motorcycle crash in 2011 and suffered a traumatic brain injury. The class will focus on chakras, emotions as well as standing and arm balance poses and more.
