Here are a few of the activities coming to our area:

May 19

Picasso for a Night at Let’s Create — Let’s Create, 10471 Ford Ave., Richmond Hill, will host Picasso for a Night from 6-9 p.m. Cost is $45, and all supplies are included. This is a good activity for you, your best friend, spouse, family and more. RSVP at letscre8.co/event/picasso-for-a-night-4 or call 912-480-0007.

Richmond Hill Library Book Club — The Richmond Hill Library Book Club will meet at 11 a.m. in the library’s small conference room to discuss "Station Eleven" by Emily St. John Mandel. Newcomers are welcome.

Business After Hours — The Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce will hold its May Business After Hours at Plantation Lumber and Hardware, 10829 Ford Ave., from 5:30-7 p.m. An open house will also be held at 4 p.m.

May 20

Last day of school — Bryan County Schools’ last day of classes for students is today.

May 21

Richmond Hill High School graduation — Richmond Hill High School’s Class of 2016 commencement will take place at 2 p.m. at the Savannah Civic Center, 301 W. Oglethorpe Ave. All seniors must meet at RHHS by 8 a.m. with caps and gowns to ride buses to the Civic Center. Parents are urged to leave early to avoid heavy traffic. Doors to the Civic Center will open at 1 p.m. See the graduation section inside today’s Bryan County News for complete graduation information.

Mother’s Day on River Street — Unity in the Community will host Mother’s Day on River Street, a free celebration, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. May 21 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 22. The nonprofit invites Savannah and surrounding communities to these monthly events the third weekend of every month from April through December at the Rousakis Plaza on River Street in Savannah. Artisans, crafters, home-based vendors, food vendors and entertainers should call 912-495-8838 or email unitynthecommunity@gmail.com to participate

Leadership Bryan Alumni Association Luncheon — The Leadership Bryan Alumni Association will hold a luncheon at Bubba’s Bistro, 2457 Highway 17, Richmond Hill. RSVPs are required to Brianne Yontz at 756-3444 or byontz@rhbcchamber.org. Event is for all graduates of the Leadership Bryan program who are members in good standing in the Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce. Lunch is on your own; so if you don’t order lunch, the event is free.

Alzheimer’s support group — The Alzheimer’s Exchange Support Group, for those touched by Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, meets the fourth Tuesday of every month from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Suites at Station Exchange, 3205 TSX Grand Central, Richmond Hill. Light supper and support material provided. Next is May 24. Call 912-445-2425 to RSVP.
