Sept. 17: Richmond Hill City Center hosts Lunch Bunch — Enjoy a meal prepared by head chef Greg Tanner and staff at the City Center. Cost is $15 per person, $13 for city employees. Sept. 18
Introduction to Wildlife Photography hosted by Fort McAllister State Historic Park — Experience an opportunity to learn how to take better photos. Two experienced photographers will instruct you on lighting, framing and cropping your images to make your photos more interesting and creative. Bring camera, extra memory cards and a laptop to load your images. The class will begin Friday, Sept. 18, from 6-8 p.m. It will resume Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $75 per person. Game Changers’ Making Strides Wine and Cheese Benefit — Join Wendy Wilson and the Savannah Chapter of the American Cancer Society, along with Bob 106.9 FM (which will broadcast live from Georgia Game Changers, 8872 Ford Ave. in Richmond Hill) on Friday from 5-7 p.m. for a fundraiser to raise money for breast cancer research and the Making Strides for Breast Cancer Walk Event to be held Oct. 10. Happy Healthy Hearts Cooking Classes — This class at Let’s Create, 10471 Ford Ave. in Richmond Hill, is designed for kids ages 7-13. Learn to make fun, easy and healthy snacks and meals through these recipes. After each cooking session, students will put together a scrapbook that can be added to if you choose to attend more classes. All supplies are included in the price of $35 per session. Classes are limited to 10 students each. First class is 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, where kids will make mint smoothies, chicken-wrap sammies and white chocolate drop cookies.
