TJ Torre, a buyer's agent with Randy Bocook Team real estate agency answers this week's questions:

Q: How long have you been associated with the Randy Bocook Team?

A: I’ve been with the Bocook team just under six months.

Q: What attracted you to this area?

A:  I moved into Savannah in December of 2014 from western New York. Having developed an aversion to cold weather ... after 40 years, I had my eyes set on the South for some time.  Savannah’s historic beauty, proximity to beaches and other cities and the warm people — not to mention weather — all had a significant impact on my decision. A career opportunity provided by Randy and the team brought me into Richmond Hill. Richmond Hill is someplace I feel I can call home. The small-town community, friendly people and natural beauty of the marshes and waterfront are very compelling.

Q: How long have you been involved in real estate?

A: I’ve been involved in real estate in many different capacities over the years — from working in a foreclosure law firm as a paralegal to examining titles for title companies — all of which led to my eventual plunge into the sales side of real estate. I much more prefer helping people into homes, rather than out of them!

Q: What makes this team so successful? What sets it apart from the rest?

A: I believe success wears many faces and can be measured by just as many. Some teams may strive for achieving the most transactions in an attempt to capture the most financial gain.  Other teams may strive to make people and relationships their benchmark and satisfying those they come into contact with completely. I’ve noticed that Randy’s Team puts people first. I believe the attention placed upon people and being passionately invested in the lives of others is a key ingredient to the success of the team.

Q: What does the community need to know about the passion behind this team?

A: In my short time thus far, I’ve noticed that this team is full of passion. Passion for what we do and how we do it! Passion and enjoyment for what we do is why we get up in the morning!

Q: What role do you feel you play in this team?

A: My role is like everyone else’s on the team — an independent, self-driven role that ultimately blends with and supports the team’s overall objectives.

Q: How has being a part of this team blessed your life?

A: Being a part of Randy’s team has given me some great opportunities to stretch and grow. It’s always a blessing to be given those opportunities, and I thank God everyday that I get to do what I do for a living.
