1. What do you feel is your greatest achievement?
Setting up a one-person public relations business in London, England in 1998, building it up to be the UK’s 14th-largest specialist healthcare agency and selling it to a multinational marketing group in 2007.
2. What, to you, is perfect happiness?
I have a place in our yard, by the pool which is my favorite place in the world – so reading a good book in the sunshine there and knowing my husband and dogs are going to spend the evening with me.
3. What one material possession would you save in the event of a fire (assuming your family was safe)?
As I would include my dogs as part of my family, it would be my photo albums – precious memories from a pre-digital age.
4. What's the best advice you've ever been given?
That life is not a dress rehearsal and to make the most of every day.
5. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would make myself a bit taller!

Snakes.
7. What real or fictional person do you most identify with?
I am British born, so Margaret Thatcher – she became Britain’s first female (and only so far) Prime Minister on my 13th birthday and inspired me to know that women can do anything they set their minds to.

Cooking with great quality ingredients – I love the American grocery stores.

I am highly organized.

The Eagles.

I am a voracious reader – if I had to pick a British author and book I would say Charles Dickens’ “Bleak House” or, if an American author and book – Harper Lee’s “To Kill a Mockingbird.”

I wish I had musical talent.
