Pregnancy tests are completed by the client in a comfortable, private, nonjudgmental setting with the presence of a client advocate. Pregnancy-test results are interpreted by the client. Counseling is then provided to the client based on the test results. Pregnancy tests are completed by the client because the center is not a medical facility.

Peer Counseling

• Forgiven and Set Free post-abortion counseling — Helps women come to terms with the pain, guilt and grief of an abortion

• Abstinence — Women are counseled regarding making a plan for sexual purity or marriage. The Pregnancy Care Center does not support the use of birth control outside of marriage. Married women should consult with their physician regarding the use of birth control.

Parenting, Adoption, and Abortion Education

The center wants to ensure that its clients understand what parenting, adoption and abortion mean. During sessions, all options are reviewed and presented in a nonjudgmental way. All information is up-to-date and accurate.

Referral to Community Resources

All clients are provided with a resource list for their use. Clients in the center who are in need of services the center cannot provide are referred to the appropriate place. All referrals are done only with signed permission from the client.

Other Educational Opportunities

• Abstinence Counseling

• Miscarriage Bible Study (coming soon)

• Earn While You Learn – Attend a weekly one-on-one meeting with a volunteer instructor and earn “Mommy” and “Daddy” Dollars to save or spend in the center’s store. The store is equipped with baby formula, diapers, baby clothes, quilts and maternity clothes.
