Continuing the tradition of doing what the News can to help local kids get their Christmas wish lists to the big man in red, below are letters to Santa Claus from second-graders at Lanier Primary School.
We know Santa is always keeping up with what’s going on in Bryan County, so we’re hoping he’ll get the messages in time for Christmas. As proof of their authenticity, the letters are reprinted as they were written:

Dear Santa,
How are the raindeer doing? I want to tell you that I have a book all about you and all of your journeys. And I like to read it on the bus. I also want to ask you is there anything you don’t like? I also want to tell you one thing I want for Christmas and that one thing is a stuffed kitten and a stuffed cat.
