Daniel Carey, president and CEO of Historic Savannah Foundation, will speak about the “The Economic Benefits of Historic Preservation” to the Richmond Hill Historical Society on April 7.
The 11 a.m. meeting will be at Richmond Hill City Center.
Carey spoke at the society’s February meeting and was asked back. Last year, HSF presented results from a report it commissioned to examine what role historic preservation plays in a community.
The lecture is free for society members. A $5 donation is requested from non-members. An optional buffet lunch costs $15. To RSVP, email richmondhillhistoricalsociety@gmail.com.
