Keller art group shines at Coastal Empire Fair

Brush Buddies, a Keller art group, claimed a multitude of honors at the Coastal Empire Fair, held Oct. 31-Nov. 10 in Savannah.  
Marguerite Gilmore won best in show with a watercolor painting entitled “Red Cactus in Bloom.” Linda Campbell received a blue ribbon in the acrylic category. Betty Boyett received two red ribbons (oil and watercolor), and La June Spence also earned a red ribbon for her watercolor entry.
Linda Campbell, Debbie Hartley and Mary Ann Allen won yellow ribbons in the watercolor category.
Joann Adams has guided the group for the past three years.
Brush Buddies meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays in the social hall at Corinth Baptist Church, 19536 Highway 144.
