Richmond Hill resident Lisa Freeman traveled Tuesday to Washington, D.C., where she helped launch the book "In the Shadow of Greatness" during an event at the Navy Memorial.

The book pays tribute to the midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy Class of 2002, of which her son, Richmond Hill High School graduate Marine Capt. Matthew Freeman, was a member.
