Hospice to mark 35th anniversary
summernights

Hospice Savannah will host summer-nights fundraising parties in June to celebrate its 35th year serving the community.
The Hospice Savannah Foundation officials are looking to make it easy and fun to host parties of any size or format during the June birthday month. Invitations and donation cards will be provided for guests, and each host receives a birthday cake courtesy of Joe’s Homemade Café.
Established in June 1979, the nonprofit freely offers palliative and hospice care to residents in five counties of the Coastal Empire. Proceeds from the parties will support the daily impact fund, which provides free bereavement counseling; an overnight children’s grief camp; complementary therapies of music, story keeping and massage; a We Honor Veterans initiative; palliative-care clinics in both local hospital systems; and a pet program that enables patients and their pets to stay together.
